6.8 MRC Weekly Schedule + A Weekend I'll Never Forget
A weekend that reminded me why Mondays exists ✨
Sorry for the delay this morning ✨
As always, a little reflection from me, and then our weekly schedule of runs and events are below <3
I’m still up in Whistler, vacationmaxxing at The Crystal Lodge on the couch with a coffee in hand and a fire going, thinking about the magic of this past weekend. I’ve been replaying all of it in my head this morning… the races, the finish lines, the family-style meals, decorating our shoes, the cheering, the laughs, the hot tubs, the late-night chats, and the feeling of having so many people from our community all together in one place. My heart feels very full today. ❤️

Earlier this year, I wrote on my vision board, “Get a group of Mondays to a start line together.” Being in Whistler this weekend and watching that happen felt like a bit of a full-circle moment.
20+ people from the Mondays community made the trip up together. Some raced the 10K, some tackled the half marathon, and some took on the 32K trail race. Everyone was on their own race journey this weekend, but what I’ve found myself thinking about most this morning actually has very little to do with the races themselves.

What I’ll remember most is the house.

Rosa taking the lead on organizing the booking, the room delegation, and making EVERYONE a matching friendship bracelet to wear. Kath, Lisa, and Andrea coordinating food, rides, and logistics... Francis helping secure the place and mastering the BBQ… Everyone just naturally stepped up to contribute and make sure things ran smoothly. It was such a team effort, and exactly what I’ve come to expect from this community.
There was just something really special about the energy all weekend. It felt like we were teenagers again in some ways — staying up late, laughing until our stomachs hurt, piling into hot tubs, sharing stories, and making memories together. But at the same time, there was something really beautiful about watching it all happen as adults. People respected each other’s goals, supported each other through race nerves, and showed up wholeheartedly for one another.
There were a few moments throughout the weekend where I caught myself stepping back and simply taking it all in. Watching friendships that didn’t exist a year ago. Watching people celebrate each other’s accomplishments as if they were their own.
Watching a Monday night run become such a meaningful part of people’s lives.
I can’t get over the amount of joy I felt this weekend.
Not only did I have my Mondays crew to race alongside, I had support scattered throughout the course cheering me on from aid stations, yelling my name, giving me hugs, and giving me that extra bit of confidence to keep going when things got hard.
As I sit here this morning reflecting on the weekend, I realize that I’d forgotten what this much happiness feels like and that so much of the joy in my life today can be traced back to Mondays and the people it’s collected.

If you’ve been craving more community, more adventure, or simply a place to meet some really wonderful people, Mondays is a pretty great place to start!
Who knows… maybe next year you’ll be standing on that start line with us!!
🍺 THE CHILL SIX IS BACK
Ok, now let’s talk about beer. When I started Mondays, the ritual was always simple: run 5K and grab a beer after.
I remember standing around after those early runs thinking, how cool would it be if we had our own Mondays beer one day?
Four years later, it happened.
Last summer, we teamed up with Superflux to create the Chill Six — an electrolyte pale ale designed specifically with runners in mind. It’s light, crisp, low alcohol, and packed with magnesium, potassium, and Pacific sea salt to help replenish what you lose on the run.
The response blew us away. The cans disappeared quickly, people were posting them everywhere, and before long we were getting one question over and over again:
“When is the Chill Six coming back?”
Well... today is the day!!!!
Tonight we’re launching the Chill Six for its second summer season, and we’re doing it the only way that makes sense: with a run.
We’ll be starting and ending tonight’s run at Superflux, where we’ll have plenty of space inside and out to hang out, reconnect, and crack open the first cans of the summer together. 🍻
Whether you’re joining us for the run or just stopping by afterwards, we’d love to see you there.
I may be biased, but I’m pretty confident this is going to be your beer of the summer.
